
Sharon is Founder of Creative Wit and an Associate with School Works in addition to being a member of the Tetlow Associates team. She has wide experience in working with school communities to give them a voice in policy development and delivery. She is leading the stakeholder engagement process for Integrated Bradford, the preferred bidder for Bradford Building Schools for the Future (BSF) and is currently advising bid teams in Knowsley and Lewisham on engagement during the ITN phase of BSF. She co-edits a new magazine on school building design, Century 21 Schools, and has made 12 half hour programmes on the subject for Teachers TV. Recently she has been working on education and regeneration projects in Brent, Islington and Hertfordshire.
Previously, as Managing Director of School Works, Sharon devised and led national participatory school design demonstration sites for DfES in Northamptonshire, Newcastle, Bradford and Sunderland.
During her time at the Office for Public Management, she specialised in education issues. Starting her career in the Civil Service, she spent 12 years in employment and education policy.
Sharon is a governor of a primary school in west London and is researching for a Doctorate in Education at Kings College, London.
